Spiral Staircases

All staircases designed, manufactured and installed by Midwest Engineering will comply with Building Code Of Australia guidelines

The Barbican Spiral Staircase

The Barbican Spiral Staircase consists of 3mm floor (checker-plate) treads and landing, welded to a 114mm diameter column. A 40mm x 6mm flat bar handrail is supported on 20mm square or round vertical balustrade with 2 x 1mm square or round in-fills per tread and between risers.

The Metro Spiral Staircase

The Metro Spiral Staircase consists of 3mm floor plate treads (checker-plate) and landing, welded to 114 m 42mm diameter pipe hand rail is supported on 20mm round vertical balustrade with 2 x 20mm in-fills per tread.

The Marine Spiral Staircase

The Marine Spiral Staircase consists of 3mm floor plate treads and landing, welded to a 114mm diameter column.

A 42mm diameter pipe handrail is supported on 32mm diameter vertical balustrade. Each baluster is drilled to allow 6 x 12mm diameter rods to flow horizontally down the staircase. 

Additional options include 

Fully fabricated 1 piece Hot-Dip galvanising

Etch blast, epoxy prime and powder coat topcoat.

Tread coverings include

Timber tread and stainless steel tactile buttons

Ribbed rubber matting

All tread finishes will comply with Building Code Of Australia non-slip nosing requirements.
